calf management

1. after calving we leave the calf with mother cow for 30 minutes so she can lick the baby dry .

2. withing 50 minutes we give colostrum to the calf so it can built its immunity stronger with the mother milk.

3.calf is than put separate from other calves for first one month in a cleans 3 inch thick bedding space.

4. we must give calf a thick bedding of straw so it can kept clean always and have the best results.

5.we give calf milk and calf started for 2 months

after 1 month calves are put together and we also start giving them hay .
